We\u2019ll show you a few examples that you can adapt to your unique business needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Create a team for each new customer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To make sure each customer is addressed properly the best practice is to build a separate team for each. This way you and your team will have a workspace dedicated entirely to the client that contains all the information about them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s important to add to the team the members of the sales team who worked on closing the deal with the customer. This way, they can always communicate with you whenever needed. At the same time, they won\u2019t have access to the other channels, so you don\u2019t have to worry about data leaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Add necessary data and resources<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, let\u2019s provide your team with all the data and resources they need to successfully onboard a new customer and build a customer relationship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Key customer information<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure your customer success team gets key customer information from sales. That includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Record information of the main contacts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Company type, industry and size<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Number of users of the product\/service you provide<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Legal information (type of contract, its length, billing details, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Existing tools in use (if needed)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can store this information in a tool that you use for these purposes. If you\u2019d like to use Microsoft 365 tools for that, we recommend <a href=\"https:\/\/nboldapp.com\/fr\/comment-utiliser-les-listes-microsoft-avec-les-equipes-guide-pas-a-pas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Listes<\/a>. It\u2019s a system of record that allows you to structure and retain important data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Sales\u2019 findings<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>For a smooth sales-to-customer-success handoff the sales team needs to document well all their findings about the customer and then pass them to the customer success team. This information should be stored in the team in Microsoft Teams and be visible and easily accessible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can document in a Word file all the customers\u2019 requirements, current issues they\u2019re having and their internal processes relevant for your business. Add this document as a <a href=\"https:\/\/nboldapp.com\/fr\/microsoft-teams-tabs-each-team-should-use\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tab<\/a> in the right channel. You may also want to use <a href=\"https:\/\/nboldapp.com\/fr\/microsoft-teams-wiki-tab\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wiki tab<\/a> for those purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Guidelines and file templates<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>It will be a good idea to provide your team with guidelines that they can follow to properly onboard a new customer and follow up with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can do so using SharePoint sites that you can transform into your own intranet. Add important documentation, tips, links, resources \u2013 all your team needs to work on establishing strong customer relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may also want to add some document templates, for example for reports and follow-ups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>T\u00e2ches<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Defining all the tasks your sales and customer success team need to complete to prepare a smooth handoff will help them stay organized and consistent. It will also clear out the doubts on who\u2019s responsible for what and ensure both teams are on the same page about the next steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nboldapp.com\/fr\/microsoft-planner\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Planificateur<\/a> is a great task management tool for that purpose. Schedule meetings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Microsoft Teams is perfect for establishing regular communication bother internally and externally.
